NO COMPROMISES
An industry where fun is important, safety is often overlooked. We don't.
We keep the fun part, but not the hazard.
SLS & SLES (Sulphate) Free
According to the Environmental Working Group's Skin Deep Cosmetic Safety Database, SLS and SLES is a "moderate hazard" that has been linked to cancer, neurotoxicity, organ toxicity, skin irritation and endocrine disruption.
No to PEG & Polysorbate-80
PEG and Polysorbate-80 are well known ingredients in bath bombs. But not in NATT.
PEG compounds often contain small amounts of ethylene oxide, which has been linked to increased incidents of leukemia as well as several types of cancer.
Some cosmetic grade Polysorbate 80 may contain carcinogenic impurities such as ethylene oxide, 1,4-dioxane and mono- and diethylene glycol. The report on Skin Deep gives Polysorbate a moderate hazard, with a 3/10 rating, but the contaminants ethylene oxide and 1,4-dioxane have ratings as a high hazard (8/10 and 10/10).
"These are questionable ingredients. Our rule is simple, if it's not proven safe, we won't use it."
